Validation of non-formal learning outcomes in the context of the Latvian qualifications framework

Seminar

On December 18, 2017, the Academic Information Centre organized a working seminar "Development of the Latvian Qualifications Framework".

In 2018, Latvia plans submit to the European Commission a renewed self-assessment report on the referencing of Latvian education system to the European Qualifications Framework, basing on the criteria set by the EQF recommendation.

The aim of the seminar was to discuss issues to be covered by the report according to the set criteria, as well as to look at changes in Latvian education under the influence of the LQF since its establishment.

The seminar was attended by Latvian and foreign education experts.

The seminar was held at Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel (73 Elizabetes Street, Riga).
